Thanks for the little Adventure Andy :) Sliding around the gravel corners was worth the hail and rail in my opinion. Should get off my butt and put my heated grips on though.

Just back from some camping and riding in the Radium area. Kind of a wet weekend. Rode out on the XR250. Amiga rode the XT225.

How did she like it Trent? Does it handle the highway alright, or were you mainly off road? I'm thinking of one of those for Kim, but I don't think she'll be comfortable on the highway for any length of time.

We're out at Wasa right now and the weather has been much of the same. Hopefully the Okanagan is a little warmer for the next couple weeks!

She loved it! We rode out from Calgary and it was no problem except for 9 degrees and rain. It will do 100 comfortably. Did a bunch of logging roads and offroad while we were there. It did fine.

That would be Limestone Mountain Lookout. From Calgary you take crowchild trail (HWY 1A) west past cochran, then head north on the HWY 40 which turns into HWY 734. ride that until you get to the red deer river. Stop by Mountain Aire lodge for gas if needed, then proceed north again on the 734 take a left at limestone mountain lookout Rd. follow the signs that have LM6 past the sour gas sites eventually the road turn very rocky and your almost there.

The you'll get to this sign(the yellow one just beside the red pole), up to you if you wanna walk or ride the rest of the way.

I'll post a RR in the next week or so, more details then.

So everything is going well on our around the world trip except we're having a headlight issue. Hoping we can enlist the help of someone in Calgary, where we'll be around July 13 or 14, who is good with electrical. Reply here if you or anyone you know can help us out.
