I drove through Texas from the east end to the west end and it was a tad scary to a California boy, nice dry weeds and gravel though. The swamps at the east end were nice. We were camping during chicada season which was really loud at night. Somehow the Velveeta cheese on the "TexMex" dinner seemed typical of the whole experience. You have delved way deeper then most and survived handily.Mexico should be a breeze. Ill be watching.

Lovin' it. Reminds me of the STUFF I would get into at that age roaming about South Louisiana and Texas on my old Triumph.

Heading into Mexico from Texas, I hope you are head to Copper Canyon- Barranca Del Cobre is amazing for what I saw of it - 5-7 times bigger than Grand Canyon and Deeper- I just got home from my Solo Mexico trip. Ended up hooking up with a group for the Canyon portion.

Good of you to help the stranded motorist.

Doing a trip like this, keep in mind that good things can come from every obstacle, hinderance or hassle- some Great things are coming your way.

Here my recent Mexico trip.
