Well mate,

After 9 months of riding offroad about Southeast Asia with ShadyRascals stove I can vouch for their function.

Never failed to fire up a meal for me out in the woods and jungles. Whipping up some cashew nut chicken w/vedgies here.

Another benefit is you are able to stock up on your Alcohol stash at any restaraunt as they all use the same fuel for keeping fire under the soups served in the restaurants over here. Order you lunch or dinner and ask em if they can top up your small plastic fuel bottle (pictured above the pot). Then you're good to go for another few days.

Thanks mate.

Once hot will diesel burn in small alcohol stoves (the same principle as diesel heaters)?

I would guess it would be pretty stinky and blacken your pots, also would probably burn hotter than the alcohol and be a little out of control.

Hottest fuel I've tried was Coleman white gas, and it was hot and fast, and blackened the crap out of my pots.

Pots!

Steve.. got both the Stever & Simmerstove from you and love them!

NOW... lets see you make some pots/cups for these babies.. man the price for camping pots are outrageous! $50+ for a small cup.. wow!

Maybe I haven't found a good resource but I just can't spend that on a little metal cup.. you could make a killin' too and i'm sure you got lots of spare time!

Hey bash3r

a walmart grease saver pot works pretty well. I got mine for about $6.

Are you going to make a review video about these stoves?
