D.O.G.s takeover of the Scrub...

Alright D.O.G.s, we need a thread that will allow everyone to see what everyone's plan regarding the scrub are. I myself will be more than likely leaving out friday the 27th after work unless I can wiggle out of there early. Anyone with the same schedule shoot me a pm and we can figure something out, otherwise I will just point south and roll on through into the evening. I'll be leaving from Woodstock.

As per previous post in the main D.O.G. thread, I'd prefer to leave sometime on Thursday so as to have all day Friday to hit some trails.

I can pull a trailer, but my current one will only fit one bike, may be able to modify it this weekend to handle two or tow someone else's trailer.

If it works out that leaving Friday AM works for one or two others, I'll do that instead of Thu. I can return either Sunday or Monday, I'm flexible on that.

Either way, I'm in...

I have a utility trailer (with built in ramp / tailgate) that should haul three small bikes in the event you could use it, you're more than welcome if you would like. It's a 6x10 trailer with 18 inch walls.

I think I like the idea of trailering my bikes down......after $500 bones in rubber today on both of 'em, I like the idea of saving the knobs.

I could leave early and come back late as well..........

Anyone wanna hitch a ride lemme know.

Wattner? Crane? Flux? Anyone? Etc.......

Peace,

FF

Since you're going I don't have to worry about getting there and everyone being asleep, I know you'll still be up. Save a Cornita for me.

Dirty beat me to starting this thread. I was gonna call it "DOGs get FLEAS" or something. ;)

Yo Coates, did you hear what Tommy's new bike is? Just kidding, Tommy, you know I want to scoop a ride on that thing to see what its all about.

I'm into leaving Thursday sometime and coming back Monday. It is a long haul to not get at least 3 days of riding in. After watching the Sandblast Rally, I think I will take the 625... I wanna pretend I'm doin' somethin'.

Tom, we could probably get 3 bikes in my landscaping trailer. If a 4th person wanted to join in, we could take my truck and stick a 4th bike in the back of it. Willy B has been talking about the KLR coming down... Frank are you taking the 400? Tom, does your truck have 4wd?

Sounds like a plan is coming together...

Flux, I am going to bring both bikes, the 950 and the 400. I have the 950 already for anything now

As for the trailering comments....this is not exactly what I would call a ride trip! It's a weekend destination to ride in a particular region. Not a true "adventure". More of a drunk fest with daily riding jaunts. Not to mention I would like to give two bikes a workout. How ya' gonna ride two of 'em down.

Now if someone wants to plan a Dog trip with out a destination, I will gladly ride that thing to. Coates, you are more than welcome to come along with me this summer on the TAT. Don't believe there will be any trailering............

Get him Frankie. Coates will have to many ball games, and there will be to much dirt on the TAT trip.

Flux,

Yes, I've got 4wd, so shouldn't be a problem towing down a few sandy roads if required to get to the actual site.

Was the same thinking here about going down on Thu and coming back Mon...more time to ride.
