Yea, it doesn't get as crazy right around camp over there compared to wagon wheel/charlie place.

We'll be near the intersection of Gasline/Pinnacles Rd look for the ADV sign.

There is plenty of fun stuff within your tanks range to to do. There are gas station within 40 mile in 3 different direction just plan a ride around one of them. Gas at Johannaburg, Ridgecrest/Inyokern, Trona.

Question

Is there running water where we're camping or do we need to bring all our own?

After some waffling, because I like waffles, especially home made with blueberries. I'm not fond of bananas though on my waffles. I also prefer whole grain waffles over those flufgfy white bread kind................oh yeah, I will be showing up. Charlie and I have decided that I will lead a ride for those who want to go. It will go from camp though Pinnacles, over to Trona, and then we will take the escape route over to Wingate and up Goler wash to Charlie Manson's house, depending on time, maybe over Mengel's to Striped Butte Valley. This ride is only for the more intermediate to advanced riders on street licensed bikes. We will be moving fairly fast and the ride down the mountains to the dry lake is very, very steep and loose . You will need at least a 140 mile tank. I will be riding in to camp around 9am Saturday morning and we will leave soon there after. We should arrive back to camp by 6pm. This ride will only take about 5 miles of asphalt.

Alternate route is to Burro Schmidt. We'll discuss on Saturday.

If no takers, no problem, I'm going anyways.

Well, if we do Schmidts/McIvers, then we might as well do Surprise Canyon, and since we'll be there, we might as well go to the Mojave Brewery . Either way, you know I'm drinking beer.
