Yeah, for some reason it didn't look as steep on video. Steve is an amazing hill climber. Nice job posting that up Robert (Bic)!!

Nice meeting you Robert and Steve. It was cool hanging out with such a great group of people. Damn were lucky to have a great organization such as ADV to bring folks together aren't we!!!

Here is my RR and a pic as I don't have a photo sharing account yet, so my RR is going to be spread out between posts.

We (me and dad) dropped off my daughter at school on the way out of town, she was bummed for not being able to go. Got out there about noon and setup camp, hydrated up for the afternoon and head out to explore some of the ride for sunday. Got side track as usual and went up a side canyon to look at a future camp site. From there took a new trail that turned into a sand wash that was a blast.

Here is dad after it got narrow and rocky. No harm no foul.

Got back to camp and bic (robert) was waiting. After introduction he got his camp setup and then wanted to ride his new husky te310 nice bike and he let me ride it. Did a little loop up through wagon wheel and back. After that had dinner and cocktails and campfire BS. Got to bed late and up early the next day.

bic testing out the new ride.

On the way back to camp, passed a couple of large groups that were going there, but not to many people were camp near us so a great weekend with low crowds.

RR, part 4,

Sat we went to the burro schmidt tunnel via some sandy washes and single track and then we enter the El Paso Mountains near the white dome and basiclly rode EP15-EP11-EP26, once at the tunnel some of the group toured all the way through the tunnel. Just about the departure time to head back to camp up rides rob and mike and they are going to the brewery so like all dedicated FF's we had to join them. A couple O'pitcher later and as we are trying to leave rob's bike died (he left the key on and got a very dead battery). Some pushing and pulling and some really cool china lake military dudes tried to jump start it with no success, he gave up and sent us on our way. We headed out looking for away around Inyokern via dirt as dad's quad would not allow us to pave it back, we found a old rail bed that paralled Brown Rd and twisted the throttle as the shadows were getting long and nobody had eaten since breakfast. (3-5 hour tour turns into a 10 hour ride). Robert got a flat that puntured a good size hole in both the tire and tube once fixed it was back at it to beat the dark which we failed at doing but got back just after it got dark.

Dan, showing his sand skill have improved in just a few miles from camp.
