It has a '67 365hp 327. I've got a few things to tidy up on it and it'll be back on the road. I've agonized over selling it as I'd like to change things up in my life in the future. My daughter has expressed interest in having it, so I might go that direction.

I think it was the weekend you were setting up in the barn.

I had a guy ping me on the klr forum about adjusting his valves so he could head for Alaska sooner rather than later. Matt was coming already and I finally forced Ben to take a look at the swingarm...he's been putting it off as long as I've known him.

Or was that the weekend you went for a loop? I know there was a reason.

How much steering lock does it look like your going to have?

I'm working on a similar project with a superhawk and looks like I wont be able to turn very sharp...

I'm not really sure how to measure for lock to lock? The limiting factor on turning radius is the oil cooler. The lower triple hits the oil cooler before I get to the steering stops. I was going to try it first, then decide if I need to drop the cooler down a bit or fatten up the stops a little.

Can I advise against that? If you're going to actually ride any trails, there are low-speed circumstances where terrain could whip your bars and crunch your cooler, which would be a real pain in the ass.

Yeah, by try it out I mean go ride some easy gravel roads trying u-turns and turning around to see what needs to be done. One of two things will happen..move the cooler or limit the lock to lock.

Okay, I have to admit that when I first saw you throw that subframe on there, I about puked, and I couldn't figure out what you would do to save it. It's really starting to come together now though.

Working on my own build project in another beast thread, which hasn't really gotten off the ground yet (literally). This stuff is interesting.
