Does anyone know what changes in suspension travel and ground clearance between the low suspension F650GS and the standard F650GS? What has been the experiences of riders on the low suspension F650's. I don't intend to ride single track, but I do plan to ride dirt and gravel roads. What is the the seat height of the standard F650 with the low seat? Thanks

The lowered chassis seat height is 765mm or 30.1"

The low seat version is slightly over an inch higher @ 790 mm / 31.1"

The low chassis version uses a shorter strut and spring to achieve that low height. Might not be very suitable if you plan on doing any sort of off pavement travel. Might want to get the low seat version instead. You'll get used to the taller seat. I have the standard seat (820mm/32.2") and now am so used to it I'm looking for something a wee bit taller!
