Sorry I missed the gathering this week. I was doing some routine maintenance on my cage, and supposedly "simple" repairs turn out to be all day projects. A brake caliper bolt was frozen, so the pads were wearing unevenly. After 3+ hours of twisting, prying, and hitting it with heavy objects, I removed the "floating" bolt and made temporary repairs. I'm saving a lot of money doing my own work, but it is often frustrating and takes more time than originally planned.

The only things I have to report from last night is that the Orange Blossom Honey beer tastes like flowers

What can I say that won't make me look stupid? I will be selling the KLR. I am doomed to a life of irrationally delusional decisions!

When can I take it up the Rowdy section of Donner?

Not a bad showing tonight! Vivid, Murgatroid, myself, and I'm kicking myself because I forgot the other guy's name, and was too embarassed to ask (Al???) Nice fellow, too. No fake orange beers, but the Bier du Mar, or something like that was a pucker...good thing is was only a sample

Vivid stuck with the tried & true this time (5 Barrel & Easy Street, can't go wrong). And Last Man Standing was on the tube, until the bartender put the SAME hockey game on as the TV next to it. One request to the lovely waitress and were watching Knight, Bobbitt & the rest amaze and amuze. Then another dirtbike program came on. Gotta love FuelTV. "Twas a good night after my crappy day!

I'm jealous. I will miss next weeks also. I am selling the KLR to help pay for the 800 GS.

Are you banking that she won't be able to tell the difference between the KLR and the 800GS

Let me know when you want me to come over and wire the heated grips.

Last night we already started the discussion on who will be buying the 800GS from you when you get tired of it
