OBR ADV Gear 38l Adventure Saddlebag, Rackless, ADV, Dual Sport Luggage Bags

38l OBR ADV Gear Adventure Saddlebag

Our product line started with the implementation of our 38l Adventure Saddlebag. The design criteria was intended to meet the demands of single day and multi-day adventures. 38l of convenient access and spacious capacity allow enough room for those multi-day essentials and can easily double for single day rides where you might want a bit more capacity over a rack alone. Compression straps allow easy load control while partially loaded or empty.

Our 38l Adventure Saddlebag is currently a "rackless" design, which allows the utilization of this system without the need for side racks. The bags simple drape over the seat/fender of the motorcycle securing by three points of attachment. Our adjustable cradle straps allow for a generous amount of spread adjustment of bags accommodating a wide range of saddle widths. Our full loop cradle strap locks back onto itself via a buckle to prevent any possibility of strap slippage while under load.

For 2015 we are staying the course with our chosen industry standard materials. Our selections are simply based on cost, finish, reliability, and function. Our chosen 1680d Ballistic Nylon provides exceeding levels of puncture, tear, abrasion, and water resistant properties. Yes, there are always high Zoot technical materials emerging that are driven by the waves and tides of different outdoor industries, but in the end most end up being products of creative marketing and higher end cost for the consumer. 1680d Ballistic simply works ... and works well by providing each end user a quality product built for the rigors of Adventure and Dual Sport Motorcycling.

The shape and profile of our 38l system puts a large emphasis on load centralization. The drape point, forward sweep, and width of the bags were carefully and completely scrutinized to allow for offroad trail performance with little to no interference from the bag system. The top profile of our 38l system has been designed flush with the saddle to allow for easy hassle free attachment of a tent, dry bag, etc. while still maintaining easy compartment access via the side zippers.

Some of the most amazing locations exist at the end of the trail ... it is important that our 38l system helps you reach those locations.

10l OBR ADV Gear Enduro Saddlebag

After our introduction of the 38l Adventure Saddlebag, the benefit of a similar system... but with less capacity became evident. We had answered the need for multi-days with the larger 38l bag, but how about a smaller bag to increase load carrying capacity for day long dual sport rides, trail rides up in the mountains, or out in the desert.....

Our answer .... the "rackless" OBR ADV Gear 10l Enduro Saddlebag.

http://www.obradvgear.com/index.php/...duro-saddlebag

Once back at the design table, we developed against the same criteria as the ADV Saddlebags. The design must be adjustable in span for differing saddle widths, full loop locking cradle straps, a shape and profile that would not restrict movement, would carry it's contents low, close, and secure to the motorcycle, and be of ample capacity to carry necessary items such as a light jacket, spare tube, tools, food, etc, etc.

Testing of the Enduro Saddlebag prototypes took place along full day long dual sport rides, high mountain trail rides, and "whoopy" desert single track... we put this little bag through it's paces without a single failure!

Versatility .... the 10l Enduro Saddlebags used in conjunction with our OBR ADV Gear Fender Bag (Sold Separately) being used as a gear pouch attached to the cradle straps.
