Found at a Goodwill in the Seattle area for $5. Obviously handmade, a LOT of time went into this. Hand (brush) painted, but the flowers etc. are stickers w/ clear coat over them.

Missing the bumper & the "VW" roundel.

I'm sure they were there at one time. Too much detail, no way the builder just left them off.

But what's this stuff? Hook on the top...

...and a hole in the door.....

...that opens. And screens for certain windows.

It has that Lived In look.

Ohhhh! It's a Birdhouse!

All metal, even the tires.

Might clean it up, might not.

Sorry little Hippie Birds, this one is going in the display case.

Back in the early days of this thread there was a few pics of the Dajiban trend in Japan (Dodge racing vans) Well it looks like they have finally finished building them and have started racing the dang things... Love it!

What kind of hitch/trailer setup is that? Looks like the platform is hinged and the trailer tires are on casters. I have only seen one setup like that before, it was an extension on a 5th wheel and it made funny arcs when in a turn

It is a 1947 Harris single wheel trailer with the original California license plate.. The wheel pivots and the trailer mounts to 2 points on the bumper. Google single wheel trailer.
