The "Rhodie - white edition" above is nice, verry good detailwork, but i stick to my "black edition"

Painted the mirrors, tank-side-panels, and the cylindercovers in matt-black last week.
The view from behind is even more "massive" like.

Picked up the same GS last week. Can someone recommed some good driving lights, i like the spotties better than fog. I've been seeing all this snow so thought you might like a warm photo of ayers rock last November.
Pity I'm not Billy Gates coz I cant even send the photo.

TT Xenons & Switching time

These are perfect - if you can source the right switching gear and relays. A relay always seems to go on a big trip. Getting Thai BMW dealers to do something beond the manual is a story in itself.
But you may want to look into getting the GSA switch and handlebar switch cover - I'm looking into this for my Xenons.
Pse note the TT Xenon & Fog light package does come with a switch but not available when bought as 2 Xenns - at least here in SE Asia.

After all that I really do recomend these lights. At night they light up the tarmac landscape and during the day they're a real safety measure when faced with duelling oncoming buses hurtling towards you astride a single lane road.

Rhodie, that is a beautiful bike! And the gas cap is a great touch! And I like the fact that you had them paint "GS" on the indents of the tank. Very nice! If you don't mind my asking, what'd it set you back?

But I'm ignorant about the Toureg emblem. I've seen it before but have no clue what it means. Somebody here even uses it for his avatar. What does it represent?

The logo is on "loan" from Paris-Dakar folks.
The paint, powdercoating [considerable, inc dissaassembly of all three boxes - GSA topbox had to be remade using SS bolts] fabrication of "dashboard" and embroidered backrest - all for $700.

Here's a couple of pics I thought I'd share. The Sarget seat just simply rocks. It took a few hundred miles to break-in but man is that thing great. The Zega's is really nice as well. I'm now waiting for the TT topcase to finally come in but in typical fashion they are on back order.

this looks familiar!

I bought my new R1200GS in December and am using the winter months to get it set up like I want it for the summer. This web site has been invaluable in that process. Givi windscreen with Adventure winglets, HB engine guards, Adventure side cases with vario top case, Brake LED, pulsing high beam and HID low beam, FAMSA tank bag etc. Thanks one and all!

Looks nice

That looks nice Rogue. Hows the screen fair? I bought mine last week and might look at that. I cant put a photo on coz I am having trouble minimizing them to the required size. I am awaiting a mate of mine who is an aerodinamics engineer to design some mounts for ff50's. When I get the design I will try and post them. Cheers
