Hepco and becker crash bars, Pia driving lamps, Adventure windscreen plus winglets - it really works great! off road pegs, front touratech mudguard and touratech handle winglets. I like the light handling of my r1200gs and it's still there for the most part. The big tank on the GSA is nice but makes the bike that much heavier.

R1200GSAL is simply GS Adventuer Lite.
Except the 720Watts alternator and the suspension travel .. you have a GSA !

S&w 1911

Oh yeah, it's a S&W 1911 (45) w/laser sights. It helps to even the playing field and keep everyone honest.

Stromtrooper246 ask...Is that a 1911 in the crossdraw? Sweeeet.

As far as the windscreen goes: I'm 5'10" and I like the stock windscreen- It keeps me sitting up straight so I can look over it. I have the low Sargent seat which set me down a bit more than the stock seat. My only complaint is that when looking down throuht the screen at the ground right in front of me the vision can be distorted becasue of the bend right at the top on the screen. hope that helps- my advice is to try it for a few thousand miles before you waste any money on something different.

Picking up my 07 GS, .. put Piaa 510, ADV planners, crashbars, and head protectors. along with an aftermarket skid plate. Love it so far, I had to leave town so i miss it so far but i got 708 miles on it in my first week. Going from Key West FL to Dead Horse AK this summer so preatty pumped about that !
