Quick Ride

Left Manila for a supposedly short trip on my days-old GS, ended up in the Pines City of Baguio, 250kms away. Had lunch in the former US facility, Camp John Hay, then rode back home.

Where did that Frame Emblem come from? and will it fit where the Telelever pivot point is?

Frame Bung/Hugger

Your correct about the frame bung, well made and looks great on the bike.
it's a well machined bung held in by friction with an "O" ring seal (its never budged since fitting).
I bought it off "e" bay about two months ago but have not seen them since.
It cost 18 british pounds and was well worth it, contact details as follows,
Andrew Stott
Flat 1,
31 Ash Grove,
Shotton,
Deeside
CH5 1AF.

The hugger was supplied by motorrad concepts.com and again quality is very high, only downside is the price at 180 british pounds.
It mounts to the rear brake caliper bolts with a machined alloy bracket and takes about twenty minutes to fit (if you stop for a cup of tea), it's available colour matched to the bike at slight extra cost but I like the silver version as it matches the bike perfectly. all in two products I recommend. "That should get me a bit of discount next time I go shopping".
"Whoops" just noticed message above but comments on quality still stand
