MAN! A new adventure bike and a blown knee are not a good combination. Make sure and do your PT diligently if you want to bounce back to 100% I've blown both my knees at different times and worked hard on one and not so much on the other. I'm paying the price for the latter now every day of my life. Ride safe!

was just a quick ride around the block to "taste" the new bike.

All ligaments were blown, MCL and LCL reconstructed in August, ACL and PCL being done this Tuesday.
Many hours have gone into PT, with lots more to follow.

Good to see you're doing PT strength make such a difference. Not to be redundant or overbearing but take your time with your rehab. I had a recon and took my time getting back to full activity and 30 years later I can still run, lift and hike with very few limitations and that was after pounding on it with gymnastics for 5 more years. Surgery is so much more advanced now too. Plan on about a year for the ligaments to fully heal and rebuild your strength. So set your trip goals and Good luck.

yeap!

That's a CINElicious depiction of one's bike affair!

Love that bead-cover for the seat.

Your hand protectors are a bit sad. They need some uplifting!!

The current state of my bike;

When the mechanic makes a mistake that causes a complete motor tare-down, rebuild, these are the pics you take where your bike will be for the next two + weeks.
