Okay, she gets a bath every two to three weeks so here she is clean. I bought my 2008 August with 17,700 on the clock and just rolled over 24,000 this week. She has ABS, TPMS, and ASC, but no ESA unfortunately. The deal was okay as I was in a hurry and wanted a bike with the face lift that was available for an extended warranty. Like an idiot I passed up an AWESOME deal on a 2010 demo model with lots of goodies for only $1500 more because I was nervous about pulling the trigger, oh well. I ride it 80 miles a day round trip for commuting right now with the occasional day trip thrown in the mix. Hopefully after I get some bags put on then I can do some longer rides. The wife and I just did a 300 mile day trip to ride up to Mt. Lemmon in Tucson and have never felt more comfortable on a bike. Adding the BMW Takedowns has made a HUGE improvement in my comfort and safety when blasting through the desert at 4am. I have Touratech risers, new screen, and some other stuff on it from the previous owner. Thinking of getting rid of the bag mounts for the Touratech special system and switching to Micatechs. What do you guys think?

The fit and finish on all of their products is top notch, far and above poor fitting items from Tourmaster and the likes. Most of their items run on the small size, but Revzilla can help you with sizing. As stated above, KLIM is a nice option also if you have the coin. My wife would have my nuts on a mantle if I bought a $1k jacket

Thanks for the review. I really like the look of the revit gear and if it's also well built and has a good fit it seems like the way to go. I didn't like Klim gear (didn't know it was that expensive) and BMW gear is too expensive.

Revit is not cheap either, but at some point you have to realize that you will pay for the good stuff. The Sand and the Cayenne Pro are awesome. The new Gore-Tex stuff is put out there to compete with other higher end products from Klim in my mind so just decided what you need.

I found the Tornado jacket & pant for $560 and it seems like the right gear for our warm weather (it has removable liners). It isn't cheap but it's much less than similar BMW gear. I need to start riding with ATGATT

I'm into a brand new Latitude suit (Jacket and Pant) for $750 after I worked some magic with my stealer on the price. That is some trick 3 season gear for not much more than what you paid for your single-season kit.

The deals are out there but you gotta know where to look and be willing to work for them.

The Tornado is supposed to be a 3-season suit. Is it or not? Not that I will ever wear the liners in Panama, but who knows where I'll be in the next 2-3 years...
