Make you happy ! :-))

The speakers are from Cycle Sounds

My new 2012 GS

I picked up my new 2012 GS last week. It has ABS, ESA, OBC, TPM options. No spoked wheels or TC. I am really liking this bike so far. I looked at the GS, Tenere, Stelvio, and Multistrada. All great bikes, but the GS worked best for me.

One thing I don't like - After I bought the bike, I found out that the accessory port will not work with my heated gear or my battery tender. I need to figure out how to install a dedicated accessory outlet connected straight to the battery.

I also need some crash bars. I am not sure which style to get.

Nice bike!

I have similar colour '08 version with black Adv spokes, really goes with gray metallic.

You can fit a full size cigarette lighter and connect to the battery via a fuse, no probs.

Original BMW engine bar provides adequate protection. Hope this helps.

I've also fitted Adv screen (taller) and winglets. Recommend it.

Tell me about the radio and the fork protectors. It is a sweet looking well farkled bike.
I want the radio and have already planned on fork protectors before my Alaska NWT trip this summer.

Thanks,

Snow makes everything fun, or when you are caught on an evening commute with dropping temps and cars playing bumper boats and going over jersey walls, very interesting:

Radio and speakers are from Cycle Sounds, the mounting of everything is "homemade" with inox.

Fork protectors are made by Modeltek, they make other stuff for this bike, take a look on there website

Call MaxBMW. They have a $35 fused OE harness which hooks up the powerlet port straight to the battery thus, bypassing the CanBus. Easy 2 minute installation.
