It did come with the bike, and is a BMW item. The number on it does not look like a normal BMW part number, but here it is: SN 7 698 057

According to a buddy of mine who also rides a GSA, this windscreen is very similar in size and shape.... just tinted. I like the look of it a lot. If that part number doesn't work for you and you have trouble ordering one, PM me and I'll call up the dealer who installed it and get the info.

Another farkle worth mentioning that came with the bike are the little square LED "take down" lights, made by Code 3. I have seen them on several dealership websites for sale. They are expensive (about $500), but man do they light the world up. The websites state they are for off road use only, but I like having them for empty backroad stretches. The round Adv lights were given a new switch, velcroed up by the gauges, since they can be left on all the time, and the take down lights were wired to the switch above the left grip, allowing for quick on/off switching.

Hey, I'm new. Here is a picture of me on my new (to me) 2009 GS. I'm loving it so far and can't wait to do more of what you see me doing in this picture!

The damage was barely noticeable. The burnt cedar trees are obvious but the oaks faired pretty good. We made a loop from Marathon through the basin and back to Ft. Davis. Used to go there all the time when I lived there but it had been 30 years since last visit. I will be going back soon though. Some of the best road riding anywhere if you don't like cars.d

I have been drooling over everyone else's bikes on this thread for a while now and can now show my own. Bought in San Diego and road it back to Corpus Christi, TX in 3 days. Completely love the bike! I have the Touratech Kahedo X-Low seat and I stopped by the Jesse Luggage shop in Glendale, AZ on the way home for a set of their Safari 115's. The guys at Jesse Luggage were great and helped me with installing the set. All I can think about now is when can I get back on it!

[QUOTE=Hikertash;17860001]

Nice Bike, and it seems to be that I have seen such pannier stickers somewhere before... :)
Greetings from Latvia;
