The GSA30 is one of the nicest looking Adventures made and it'd be a crime to paint over the '£400 sticker'......I would however like to make it into a 'GSA30 Desierto' with the Touratech fairing......Now that'd look good.......! FP.

My '07 R1200GS
I've been watching my friends ride these for a while and I decide to join the fun. Here is my new to me '07 R1200GS. I've had it for about a week so I'm just learning about it. I've already learned a lot from this forum.

I unloaded my GSA the other day and I'm sure not missing the heft or the height. Accessories swapped and I'm already to go. Now I just need a little time off work.

Your painted side panel have inspired me to paint mine. I have an '11 GSA grey w/silver side panels. This week she will be red like yours, but I am also painting the piece the has the BMW emblem and the silver part under the passenger seat MAGMA RED. Anxious to see how it looks!

Thanks. Yes, I waffled back and forth between it and a GSA rack. I think I'm glad I went this route but time and use will tell. It did fit up nicely though.

Hi there,
Also "new to the Family". Did an exchanged deal here in South Africa, swapped a 2010 660 Tenere for a 2007 GSA. Think I did ok.. ![]() Not how I like to keep my bikes.. So gave him a solid wash and polish, and BMW did an 80 K Service, and some new Road orientated tyres.. Much better. ![]() ![]() Now going to do a little Road-orientated cosmetic updates on him to my liking. 99% of my riding will be Tar orientated, but now and then I might wander down some dirt road.. So my intention is to have a cool looking, "current" GSA with some Street Cred. Final finish will look something Similar to a Triple Black.. ![]() Alan |
