I'm currently travelling through Norway and 7 out of every 10 motorcycles I see are R1200GSA fully loaded with the BMW panniers. So cool. (The insane taxes here not so much)

oh another boring r1200gs 2009 19 K miles
besides potentiometer protectors and other minor fittings, the best improvements I ever made to this bike are the simplest:
Winglets from CeeBailey. Sits this bike down in all sorts of wind conditions that use to rattle the hell out of the bike. Givi tail rack with Givi Trekker 46L case, sits lower than BMW rack, carries 22 lbs. Also on, Kaoka Throttle Lock Twisted Throttle Denali 2 LEDs with low/high function GPS Alaskaleather lamb seat cushions, oh so sweet, don't have to buy a new seat. Adjustable passenger foot pegs Enlarged rider pegs MachineArt valve cover protectors https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater |

I picked that one up at work when I saw it in the display. I work at a BMW car dealer as a tech.

Yes indeed. Amazing what 3 letters and a logo will cost you. Now, if you could find the KLR version, you could probably buy 4 of them for that same price and still have money to cover the annual maintainance
but I digress..
