I am always amazed how they really haven't changed that much since 2005. Good looking bike. Put lots of miles on it.

It only looks big because of the tree lined up behind it. It's like the regular screen, just tinted. OEM BMW part.

Thanks Jick!

Put about 3k miles on it last season with the hopes of during much more riding this year. The better half and I have been talking about weekend rides and camping adventures. I think it's going to be a great riding season!

It's the Ztechnik Z2418
http://shop.ztechnik.com/cgi-bin/zte...h_model=bm-062

I'm 6.7" (198cm) and I've tried a lot of different screens this one is the best for me (not as "ugly" as the AeroFlow screens) but still very effective,
uses GSA screen hardware/support bracket which is less expensive at Cee Baileys: http://www.ceebaileys.com/bmw/1200gsepws.html

Beach Shot

Took the GSA out for a ride and found a new beach, be a shame not to get a little mud on the tires...

Jim - How would you rate them (fit/finish/build quality etc...) compared to the Jesse's?

Fit/finish and build quality are 90%+ of the Jesse's. The only slight issue I have is that the powder coat seems a tad fragile comparred to the Jesse bags, and Kirk outsourced that, so not his fault at all.

The material is exactly the same. Kirk does not grind the welds, but I prefer that because it adds strength. The design is great (though the design is basically mine with some necessary engineering from Kirk to make it work right).

Overall, a great set of bags at a VERY reasonable price!
