Shouldn't you be in the LC GS thread somewhere?
Soon enough I will be. Just not official yet

Thanks! Red ones are definitely the best.

I can't take the credit for the boxes as I bought it from a forum member back in '12. Its a pretty good setup though. Helps keep some of the clutter out of the top/side cases.

Thanks for sharing the pics. It was interesting to see how they were installed. I initially thought about installing the same boxes, but more in a permanent way, with lid facing outwards (ie. similat the the varios). But yours is a better setup imoo.

From yet another "red fast" GSA!

Yeah, I don't think I'd prefer the lid facing outwards w/ a semi-permanent mounted box. Its real quick to insert the key, spin the lock to the open position, lift the latch and the box pulls right off....flop it open on the seat and dig around for what you want.

The lid-facing-outward idea is good, and probably quicker to get into the box, but I think loading/unloading small items could be cumbersome.

I was coming back from the mountains of central Pa in a rainstorm. Checked in by phone and was told my wife had put her finger in a blender and was in the ER. Here bike is parked at the ER.

When the doctor asked my wife what she did and she told him about the blender, all he would say is "why did you do that?"

I still can't understand the logic of clean out a blender with you finger. One more mistery of women. After three months the finger is ok fortunately. So is the blender.

Glad she didn't lose the finger!!!

Now, you should bring up in conversation, in the most serious tone of voice possible...."Man, honey, I'm so glad you didn't lose your finger in that blender.......you know, someone should invent a stick with a flat piece of rubbery silicon on the end to be able to clean out blenders...you know, something similar to a spatula."

And that's when the fight started....
