Got the idea from my S. Gotta be seen or you can get hit! They do get chipped when you get into rocks or other pointy hard crap.

Thanks, it is what I do for a living so I hope I'm halfway adept. The middle shot was done handheld, propped on my elbow. The depth of field isn't enough to keep the wheel crisp. I'll do it again with a tripod and see how sharp I can get it. I had a good laugh when I saw what was done in the GS brochure with a similar shot. The wheel is sharp, the mountain in the axle hole is sharp, but the background between the spokes is out of focus so you know they had to put the image of the mountain in. Photoshop can do most of what the mind can envision but the mind needs to pay attention to details.

I'm O.K. Broke my right collarbone for the 4th time and fractured my right kneecap. The car driver was impaired, so I doubt she would have seen a semi!

Actually, I would have gotten another yellow/black, but the dealer only had blue/grey the day I showed up.
