Hello,
I was thinking of visiting Turkey in a couple of months with my new (to me) 1200.

anybody have a pic?

Anybody have a pic of a blue GS with black side panels and grey seats? I'm trying to make an educated choice over here and would love to find a pic like that.

...just a few days away from posting my first pic of my very own 1200gs. I feel like a proud new father!

Cheers

2006 1150 GSA Anniversary edition

Here it is! Bought it from Jakar this weekend and rode it home to LA. Put nearly 2k on it so far and love it!

My new-used '05 GS after her facelift

Hey all - Been learning a lot on the forums before and after my purchase of an 05 1200 GS, and now that she's had her paint job, I'm ready to post my pics. I just got back from Baja on my 650GS, and damn is the 1200 a pleasure in comparison! Can't wait to take 'er up or down the coast in the next few weeks! Thanks for all your help on the forum! Hope to meet up with some of you for a ride in the near future!

Here she is before the paint job (and minus her top case).

And here she is on the PCH just an hour after I picked her parts up from being painted.

Beautiful paint job! Looks great on the GS. Much better than the BMW Blue IMHO!

thanks

Thanks Jim - I'm really happy with it! The painter made a custom color for me, and I chose the shade from a small chip - so I was a bit nervous. But it came out great I think! He saw the bike put back together and offered to paint the TT Hardpart that came with it - it is yellow too!

Nicely done! Now I see why you went with the blue; much better than the BMW blue.

We gotta ride!

It looks a lot like the blue BMW used on the K1200RS a few years back; capri blue iirc...
