Central Virginia BMW Service

I need to get some service work done on my F800 ST.

I like Morton's but I don't like the bill that comes at the end of the exchange. So, is there a shop out there, preferably within 50 miles of Richmond, that you have had a good experience using?

Thanks.

I know he's a boxer-whisperer, but he may work on the parallel twins too.

Anton has been servicing my friend's 800GS for a couple of years. He keeps 800 service items in stock AFAIK.

Several Richmond riders have used Eppa (CycleDoc59) and say that he is an excellent mechanic, very reasonable and they speak highly of him as a person as well. Per the ADV crowd, he knows BMW's very well.

Guy Young (Guy Young) is a retired electrical engineer that can damn fix anything that burns fuel or shoots bullets. I have personally hired him many times to work on my BMW's. He is an honest man and his work is clean. Unfortunately, unless things have changed, he has pretty much retired and only occasionally takes work. He also dislikes BMW's and has on more than one occasion stated that he wouldn't take a BMW if it were free! He bleeds Kawasaki green.

Also, what about you saving some $$$ by doing all of the easy stuff (i.e. fluids, filters, tire changes, etc) and let Mortons do the valves and GS911 hook up?

It needs the expensive stuff for the next service, as well as a brake service.

Anyone know anything about Velocity down in Richmond? They used to work on all types of bikes, but it looks like they are focusing on vintage and British stuff.
