New Tag

Since the rain held off, I was able to get the new tag today.

Access by all paved roads.

Located at intersection of dirt road and pavement. Farm established by and run by same family for over a century. Unlike last tag, this state and county has very few unpaved roads.

I KNOW THIS ONE! Just from the photos I can ID this one. I have been by it quite a bit lately. I may be able to nab just one more before my trip on Saturday. Dentist appointment early on, but maybe just maybe I can get out and ride after that!

There's sunshine in that pic, and to me that puts this tag somewhere southeast of circle city on account of the rain today. Gonna be tough though if I'm gonna beat Jody.

Laugh Google Map Updated with Latest Find

Hey Guys & Gals The SATOR Google Map has been updated for those looking to explore where this thing has been. Looks like it needs to creep back out West a bit...

Might just happen if I get a chance to grab this tag tomorrow.

I dunno Jody... Seems like the weather is getting more like beach weather. I just might grab it and move it down to the "Redneck Riviera"...

Think I'll move the Wee out of the garage and warm it up... Wait a minute... Let me check out the weather report...

Yikes!!! I'd better strap my Frogg Toggs on the back!

Tom T. Hall Redneck Riviera Lyrics:
Down here on the Redneck Riviera a drinkin' beer
and singing country songs Chillin' with the motel
door wide open hopin' somethin' good will come
along Gulf Shores up through Apalachi-cola they
got beaches of the whitest sand Nobody cares if
gramma's got a tottoo or Bubba's got a hot wing in
his hand Redneck Riviera is where I wanna be down
here on the Redneck Riviera by the sea

Down here on the Redneck Riviera trawlin' up and
down Mir-a-cle Mile Smoothin' out my tan and
disposition and wearin' little other than a smile

On Highway 98 I got a ticket something I ain't
never understood If driving a convertible is
topless why can't I ride my Harley in the nude
Down here on the Redneck Riviera sign says Smoking
Mullet Here Today I really don't know what I'm
gettin' into but I'm in line to try some anyway
Redneck Riviera is where I wanna be down here on
the Redneck Riviera by the sea

I got seven dollars for the jukebox twenty more
left over for some beer Down here on the Redneck
Riviera there ain't no better living anywhere Now
here comes them dreadful possums (Down here on the
Redneck Riviera down here on the Redneck Riviera
(Down here on the Redneck Riviera down here on the
Redneck Riviera (Down here on the Redneck Riviera
down here on the Redneck Riviera (Down here on the
Redneck Riviera down here on the Redneck Riviera
(Down here on the Redneck Riviera down here on the
Redneck Riviera)

Ok had to go out and do just one more before my trip. I knew none of you guys were out riding today. So there you go. Took the closest ride to the front door at the shop and it shows others that you can ride any bike and play SATOR!
First thing this morning had to visit the dentist, felt numb till well after lunch. Then thought hmmm it's only raining, took another look at the radar. Looks like lots of rain out there, so what the heck. I grabbed the rain suit, hit the shop, picked up a bike, and off I went in the rain. It rained hard for about 10 miles then the pavement dried and the rest was smooth sailing to the tag and back within 10 miles and the rain had never left. The temperature was pleasant, but tomorrow will be better. So all you hounds will have to cage it till I can get back out west tomorrow. I have an oral surgery appointment tomorrow on the West side of town, and I have a place in mind out that way, so stay tuned...

Unfriendly locals thought I should leave, so I only shot one tag as they were attracting much attention.

Dangit' Jody! I was just about to leave. I figured no-one would go out tonight with the rain. Well, good on ya, I guess I'll have to up my percentage while your gone.

Wicked

You have to step up your game SIR!

Well I know you'll be a big player while I am gone, and possible the next in line to grab one. Based on your previous westerly experience.

Good Luck Everyday, and tomorrow will be a better day to ride.

Way to go Jody, BUT I can't believe you are having oral surgery right before your big trip. I hope everything goes well.

I live dangerously!
It is a must do from a previously repaired molar a few months back. Got to get it done since I plan on doing a fair amount of diving while I am there.
