is there any reason you avoid Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece, Macedonia and Turkey on this road, because they are also Balkan. Time issue?

Sorry I took so long.
It was four years ago now so let me check my notes... We took the ferry of the island at Žigljen to Prizna,main land. Then an easy ride up the coast towards Senj. Nice roads through the forest in Slovenia. After leaving the coastal road it got chilly and we encountered some black ice. I do remember it being very nice but slick when wet. *edit* Looked at some roads and I think maybe 23-42-32-3 and 106?

Thank you so much for this report. Stunning scenery all along the way. The one thing that I noticed, and I'm sure others have too is the almost complete lack of roadside debris or litter. What a wonderful concept, take pride in your country and don't throw trash on the side of the roadways!
Americans could learn a thing or two from such places.

Great pictures of the journey through the Balkans, thanks for sharing. The E65 down the coast is an amazing ride with some beautiful scenary isnt it. Im actually in Kotor at the moment and have been in this part of the world for awhile now, heading into Albania next. Im loving it, anyone thinking of doing a ride down here, go for it the people are friendly everyone speaks English if you speak it and you will never regret it. Thanks again for sharing your ride
