If I have City Nav NT do I need Trip and wpt manager?

Just snagged a 2720 from tiger GPS (for $109!) and to my surprise, it came with a copy of City Navigator North America NT on a disk.

I was thinking that I needed the trip and waypoint manager disk also so I had them throw one in the box, but now I am wondering.........

Is there anything that the Trip and Waypoint Manager software WILL do that the City navigator WON'T do?????

Should I send it back?

The mapping program is Mapsource. City Nav is Map Data. And Trip & Waypoint manager is free with purchase. If they charged you for it, you got screwed - you don't really need it for anything.

In their defense, they didn't charge me for anything I didn't order. I thought I needed it so I bought it. Thanks for the info, I think I'll just send it back.

FWIW, tigerGPS was really good to work with and the product appears top notch. Good product....great price.
