Staying away from places with new R1200GS bikes will save me a bunch of money.
See what sorebutt wants to do.
If I had an Idho plated DR350 could I ride on a trail in Washington without having to pay a fee ?
I'm just dreaming about the trail. It starts in a State Wildlife Area on Asotin Creek. A plate or an ORV sticker are equally legal there...

Pierce on the road bikes sounds good to me.

When do you get here and when do you leave?

I started to get my Honda ST ready to ride. I haven't started it since last fall. It thinks I don't love ti anymore. I checked by rear tire and noticed there wasn't much rubber left on the sidewalls. I have no idea how that could happen.

I'm going to mount a new tire tomorrow.

Supposed to be a high of 60 in Lewiston on Saturday so a good day for riding. Pick a bike and bring it.

If Pierce:
The ride to Pierce and back is about 3 hours plus lunch time if we stop for lunch. I like the Vug in Pierce , good food and cell service in the restuarant. I would suggest starting at 10:30 to hit the best temperature range and it would have us coming back down the Clearwater before 3 pm and before the sun gets in your eyes. Up Greer Grade and maybe down Grangemont. We could swing back via Ahsahka and over the top to Kendrick, always a fun ride and not much more time.

I will PM you my new cell #

That would be a good ride. The Greer Grade and Cavendish Grade will give a chance to rub some rubber off the sides.

I'm on the way up river. I can meet you at Gibbs Eddy.

We are trailering over Friday night and camping at the Asotin Fairgrounds. mrsdhally has 4H Leader meetings all day at the Fairgrounds.

I will plan to be at Roy's house on the Weestrom in time to start by 10:30. That ought to provide plenty of riding time.

We are always open to having more fun people. They should be leaving Lewiston at 10:30 so we should meet at Gibbs Eddy a little after 10:30.

The canyon area out of the Blues is pretty much open. The lower Asotin Creek on over to the Snake are all open. We rode Montgomery Ridge Road a couple weeks ago and it was in great shape. I was up in the Craig Mt. area a couple of weeks ago and there is plenty of snow. I talked to someone today that said anything off the main road in the Grangemont area has lots of slush. I rode up to Elk City last weekend and all the roads off the river had lots of snow.

This is the time of the year we all get cabin fever so we go out and get caught in the snow or mud.
