2014 ALTRIDER Luggage

It’s been a busy 6 months designing, testing and producing this collection of next-generation, waterproof luggage with my friends at ALTRIDER and we’re excited to finally share these pieces with the rest of the world.

We’ll be revealing the whole group here in this thread and will answer questions as we go.

The first piece is this sadddlebag design for dual sport/dirt bikes but will also strap right onto other ADV bikes like the KTM 950/990/1150, BMW Dakar 650, KLR and Husky TR 650 Terra.

Slim, tight and low - this kit will carry your gear securely without any special racks required.

New, tailored roll top design eliminates pesky, delicate zippers once and for all and is 100% waterproof (main compartment)!

Exterior stash pockets for commonly needed trail side tools/tube, tire irons and whatever else you need to access without opening up the main compartment - I can hardly wait to get a flat!

Thousands of hard, off-road riding has given us plenty of experience to know that lowering the load makes this layout ride excellent and yet not interfere with the riding position.

Reflective logo transfer is incredibly bright at night.

There’s lots more coming!

Thanks - It depends on how many rolls you use to close the main compartment but it will max out near 50 Liters (not including the exterior stash pockets).

I heard a rumour some months back that this was in the works, so I didn't buy a GL. I'm glad I waited.

If this piece is not absurdly expensive, I'm in. Will it be available before my planned April-ish trip?

Right on Wachs! I love my older (your design) GL bag, but with the roll top this is an improvement step very far in the right direction!

Now...How to justify replacing my beloved old Coyote with one of these...

Put me on the list. Wow that looks really nice. The sides look like they will last a lot longer than other bags I've seen.

Nice...

Very interesting. I like your original design. Excited to see what the new product adds to an already stellar design.
Good for you continuing on.

Nice work dude.

I especially like the easy access to the quick tool roll or fuel cell. I travel with a fanny pack with tools and med stuff, but try to keep my heavy metal in the luggage. This little lower stash looks to keep that weight low and quick access for a quick tweak and back on the road.

I have used roll down bags in wet environments, always better than zippers when you dump it in a river. Look forward to seeing them on the trail.
