Not this week, but thanks for the invitation! I'll have to check on Rock Bottom's next Keg-Tapping Party, 'cause they do those on Thursdays. Might make a good excuse to ride 'Lil Miss Duckie up to Lyons for a Tuesday night brew. Please keep us all posted.....the more gatherings, the better!

Nice to see everyone

It was nice to get together with some old friends and make some new acquaintances. Thanks to theantipaul for setting this up. It was pretty nice being able to sit outside on March 3rd. When I was leaving I realized I had no liners in my jacket or my pants. While it was warm in Lyons it was not in Ward. I had the excitement of kicking my brights on, as I pulled out of Lyons heading to Ned, to face a large buck standing in my way. He would not get out of the road. He finally trotted along beside me for a ways then went into the ditch. Had me on pins and needles for a ways. After a while I was in a mental fight to keep the bike within break-in speeds when my wrist wanted to outrun hypothermia .

Sure, but what did I do to deserve that. I'd like to hear more about your trip out there and Toddlers trip too.

Sadly, I can't make it. I'm stuck in CA for the week.

Have fun.
