New Tag
Here's the new tag. This tag should be easy to figure out with the pictures I've included. Great weather for a ride by the water. Riding is legal on the dirt roads only. Access only from Dawn to Dusk.
![]() One of several entrances (closest to the tag) ![]() The above entrance is near this intersection ![]()

Tag!
![]() C&D Canal entrace near Frazer and Chesapeake City roads. I love riding those service roads! ![]() Took the tag north to a rest area where no resting is permitted. The tag shot: ![]() Here's a shot of the neighborhood: ![]() This intersection is of a road named for a geological feature also known as a vale, dale, glen, strath or draw (according to Wikipedia), and a DE state route with a two-digit number that adds up to 5.

Hah! Thought I heard the distinctive note of some American iron rolling through my 'hood. Funny, I've lived here all my life and never noticed that sign.

Good to see the tag moving. I knew it wouldn't take long to see the C&D canal
I've been a little busy lately but I'll be grabbing some tags soon.

The New Tag
The new tag:
![]() This historic house(circa1723) was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The proximity of the house to one of the country's major transportation corridors made it a landmark for passing travelers. Key Revolutionary War period visitors to the house were George Washington, Lighthorse Harry Lee, Mad Anthony Wayne, Lafayette, and many others as they traversed the King's Highway (the Pike). Here is a second photo of the house; from a different angle.

Tagged and bagged
Got it on the way home tonight:
![]() Robinson House at the corner of Naaman's Road and Philadelphia Pike (US 13, the old King's Highway) in Claymont. Story goes, Caesar Rodney changed horses here on his way to Philadelphia to vote for independence in 1776. New tag as soon as I think of one and go get the shot.

Good grab, Jeff. I was on my way back to PA, and saw the sign for "historic Robinson House". There are a lot of areas of Delaware I haven't explored. Hopefully I can post future tags that are more motorcycle friendly.

Here's a photo of the historical marker that is at the rear of the Robinson House.

New Tag: Today in Delaware History
On this date in 1921, a long-standing boundary dispute between Delaware and Pennsylvania was finally settled. This historical marker describes the dispute and is located within the disputed territory (which was ultimately given to Delaware). Tag shot:
![]() Here's a blowup of the marker that's almost legible: ![]() Should be plenty enough to find it. I was planning on moving the tag south, but couldn't resist the date connection.

The Wedge
Located on 896 almost at the border. Seems to have been alot of confusion on where the border was. Interesting tag.
