Hey Stan - Thanks, they go into production on 3/16 and we'll have them mid-april ready to mail. We ship to the UK all the time in fact, Adventure-Spec received a shipment of our Giant Loop kits (for thumpers) and has that existing product in stock right now. What bike are you riding? - Oh I see 950 in your sig.

Have you guys figured out a price on this yet? This is exactly what I have been waiting for. I have been jonesin' for this since you showed it. The Jesse's are a nice setup but not that great for hard off road on the ADV. I NEED this thing. How bout just a ballpark so I can budget for it.

Thanks for the inquiry Pigstain - $399

We've been pounding on the unit and made a few more changes to make it cactus-proof and generally most-bomber. Still looking at mid-april delivery.

• 50 liters of 100% waterproof capacity
• 2 removable 'pannier' compartments (6 liters per side) for tools or cook set.
• 2 - One litre bottle compartments (you can actually fit a 2 litre bottle in each side)
• Interior top case allows a down bag to be stuffed tight inside.
• Daisy chain on top for quick lash-down of a jacket or whatever for temporary transpo -
• 2 custom stuff sacks to fill that extra space between the panniers and top case (included)
• No stinkin' racks or hardware on your righteous 950 brah!
• 8 pounds, shipped right to your shop and ready to roooooost.

The thing is on there tight like nothing else and will take all the abuse you can dish out Sir.

$399, good price!! Thanks for the reply, now I have to sell some stuff and beg for money. Jesse's will be for sale!!

Is the attachment setup like the original GL or is this completely and easily removeable?

How waterproof is the zipper? Because it is exposed on the top, have you tested it with say a hose sprayer? I know those zips are usually "resistant" but not really "submersible" waterproof and will leak a bit.

The 2 removable pannier compartments are constructed of what material and are they zipper or drawstring? Same with the extra stuff sacks.

I have read the piece about how to pack the original GL. Would this be the same type of setup just bigger? I'd love to see some more pics of how you packed it or maybe a sketch.

Looking forward to getting this thing and trying to kill it!!!

• No hardware, easy on - easy off (assuming you have the capacity to carry a passenger - grab handles and buddy pegs)

• Zipper didn't leak when I rode it in the rain and hosed it down a day later.

• Panniers compartments are made out of 1680 denier cordura - very tough. Stuff sacks are burly nylon.

It's approved for production -

100% Waterproof Bomb Shell

Yeah we sprayed it all over.

Double headed zip on the Bomb Shell - tuck'em under one of the comp straps and you're off. Focused water on this did not leak, it's on the 'lee' side of riding action so unless you can get this under water (and your bike still runs) you'll probably be OK.

Removable pannier pods

I've put 350 miles of riding on this 950 in the past month or so. Not much but hey, we've had snow and whatever. The testing has been everything from 1st gear-clutching-it-through-the sand and sage - to 100 + mph back-end sliding around laser beam gravel roads.

Removing the metal rack material off the machine made a very positive contribution to the performance of the bike, it immediately became more nimble and responsive to the hedonist requests of the rider - including braking scenarios on gravel, sand and rocks, blatant pulverizing of the rear tire, and out-of-control throttle abuse through the desert whoops.

Perhaps an un-fair comparison only because we don't have 2 boxes in this shot. The other box was so destroyed, he recycled it so we use the Coleman cooler as a substitute.

Looking forward to being this organized!
