Bar risers and bars

What non-oem bars and risers are we strommers using? Mick. I believe Rod/Wacko has got rid of his GS1200 and gone DL1000... should hear from him soon. Mick.

Thikning of a change

As some of you know I am currently in the other "in Crowd" over at DR650 land, however the missus is talking about doing some weekend touring and she just hates the DR - unfortunatly I cant afford 2 bikes 2 kids 2 cars and 2 houses so its going to have to be one bike (bugger)

I have ridden a vstrom fairly regularly and enjoy it, however the one I ride is in fairly standard trim and I wonder about its ability to handle all types of dirt can you please elaborate on how you find the Vstrom and any comapros you may have with the vstrom and the F800gs would be much appreciated!

Regards

Leith

Leith, Leith, Leith.... .... don't say you are going to the dark side ?

DL650 gets good feedback.
It's a bit lighter and therefore better offroad but still good two up
.

I'm searching for a Wee windscreen?

Hi All.
I am searching for a standard windscreen for a DL650 really cheap. Does anyone have one in their shed gathering dust?
Cheers and thanks in advance.

Here you go. Copied from another website with Saab's permission.
See you there.

The 2010 V Strom owners gathering will be held at Urunga on the NSW Nth Coast on the weekend on 1-2 May. Urunga is a beautiful spot with plenty of facilities and a great spot for a family holiday (Google Map link here).
The dinner venue will be the majestic Ocean View hotel, which features a large function room and some accommodation upstairs. They are also very MC friendly.
The Urunga caravan park is directly across the road from the pub and has heaps of camping space, cabins and clean facilities. It is also within walking distance of some great swimming and fishing spots, so bring ya rods.
Greg & Sandi have offered to host a welcome barbecue on the Friday evening for early arrivals.

I will post more details over the next few days.

Distances:

Townsville - 1777 km
Brisbane - 423 km
Sydney - 503 km
Canberra - 708 km
Melbourne - 1378 km
Adelaide - 1789 km
Perth - 4120 km
Hobart - 2077 km
