Geez Joe, if the bike was blu it'd be mine. Almost same farkles except for hoops, still wearing originals down. Mick.

Joe you need crash bars, headlight grilles, driving lights,

"G'day Medicmick,

I think I ran into you and another bloke on mountain bikes earlier this year out near Belingan. There were three of us, a Dakar 650, XR650R and me on the Dominator. I trailered my bike up from Vic and we rode in from Forster. Fantastic riding and countryside except it rained the whole time. I;m just getting my head around doing the Mungo/Tophut ride, I need to spend a few more $$$ on the bike, oh well I'll just have to flog the credit card again.

Cheers
Dave"

mate that was Justin aka ADV - Vallarian..he does more kms on MTB's than his DR.

G'day Mick,

I've done a bit of research into this and have decided to go for the Pro Taper ATV High bars. V Strom riders are using them and seem happy. I read somewhere that when fitted they will be about an inch higher and an inch closer to the rider which is exactly what I want.

BTW. Just added my 4th farkle, a fork brace. I missed the Toll delivery bloke who would have had the 5th and 6th farkles, SW Motech Pannier Frames and Radiator Guard, bugger. I'll grab them tomorrow and disappers into the garage with a few beers.

Cheers
Dave

Shit, there's more farkles on your handle bars than on my whole bike. I'll catch up though, a few more drunken nights with the computer and credit card will fix that.

For the sake of getting the V Strom thread back on page 1 I'll post a few picks of my new farkles. SW Motech radiator guard and pannier frames. Really well made and easy to fit.

Givi engine bars

Done a net search but can't find any Aus online suppliers of Givi crash bars for 650 Vee Strom. Can you only get them through bike shops? If so does anybody know how much they are? Any info appreciated, thanks.
