Honda superstore.

Cars mean higher shop prices and higher profit margins.

Enjoy the atmosphere of lack of motorcycle variety & community.

Following from the link....no cars.
Hmmm....

Rocky Mountain is a stand-alone bike ATV & Power Equipment Dealer. If you are looking for an automobile we suggest checking www.honda.ca for a dealer near you.

We have taken possesion of our new building and have begun renovations. Product is ordered and we should be able to start deliveries by mid to late March 2009.

Are you going to stock the CBF 1000?

I hope for you that you don't end up like the only Power Sports Store in BC, Nanaimo, which is on life support from Honda Canada.
I also hope you don't end up having to help pay for the lawsuit Blackfoot has against Honda Canada. If no to both, that's great.

I don't think GSPD750 is the dealer, he just posted the information that currently appears on the dealers web page. I doubt he can answer your questions

That's interesting cause from what I have heard Honda Canada was leaning towards having centralized dealerships.......one stop shopping for everything Honda!
Even my local Honda shop is complaining about Honda's corporate attitude.

Rocky Mountian Honda!

Was at the new location yesterday. Old Jackpot Bingo building. MacLeod Trail South east side off Bannister Rd. Not too far from Southgate Chevrolet. Awkward to get into right now though. The inside was being renovated but had a ways to go. Its going to be a good size. Pics on the drawings taped to the windows look impressive. Talked to one fellow there and he said they should have stock by April 1st.

A brand new Honda superstore just opened up here in little ol' Salmon Arm. We did all the 'puters for them. They have a couple of Varadero's in stock and some other interesting stuff. Oh yeah, they have cages too.

Honda is only offering parts and bikes through their own super stores, they have cut off dealers unless they are only Honda. I think its the silliest thing ever. Ive been buying and riding honda's since my first in 81, but recently converted to Kawi for my dirt rides and BMW for my road rides due to price shopping and availability of parts.

Maybe Honda thinks they can pocket more of the money, but I would hate to bring my bike in to a shop that would only sell you Honda oem parts.

Yes, Honda will be pulling a lot of their regular dealers and putting the bikes in these power stores. As far as two wheelers are concerned, some may be good, most will be ok at best, the rest will stink as bike dealers, not carry aftermarket parts/accessories, have lawnmower mechanics working on bikes, clueless salesmen etc. Just my opinion on what it will mean, but I do know its a fact that some dealers have been given notice the clock is ticking.

Its a shame Honda will realize the value of their dealers AFTER they have shot themselves in the foot.

....thread starts out as one thing but touches on the negatives of the "power store"

Rocky Mountian Honda! Calgary.

They are officially open but in the middle of everything. Still lots of work to do but bikes are selling. They have a new Goldwing, a Varadero and a CB1000. Surprised those are still around. Met a couple of the people working there, seem like great guys and gals. They will carry all Honda products except cars.
