I have'nt seen one in person but have been told they are a light weight chair and not up to it for any serious off roading.

Looks really close to a Cozy. Are they made in India?

Cozy/Globe knockoff

Good spot, Claude, I believe that they are manufactured in the old Glode Sidecars factory up in the Punjab by 'Inder Tool Industries' the company that used to be the Globe/Cozy distributors and are currently an OEM supplier to Bajaj and also make machine tools.

A brief web search turned up some hits, but no direct web site

The inder is really a Vespa/Lambretta/scooter sidecar, it might work on a cheap 200-250cc 'China Bike' too - but I'd be reluctant to mount it to anything larger than a Suzuki Savage.

Cheers

Jim

I couldn't agree more and think we are all talking about the same product.

"Cozy" in the US, "Inder" down under and "Indy" in continental Europa. And "Globe" (with a b) all over the world.

Must say this is the first left side rig I've ever seen. A cheap imitation of the old "Steibs" from Germany, but absolutely different.

The Inder and Cozy are similar but separate. CMW, the Enfield distributor just added the Inder to their lineup along with the Cozy they carry.

BJ's bikes in Brisbane are an Enfield importer ( they also have Urals now ).They also have the sidecars .About 3 grand .Others are correct ,they are light weight .....quality?......hmmmm....care to quantify that question ? Have ridden a new Enfield but without the chair .
Check out your local Enfield dealer for a butchers hook.

Thanks all. One guy in South Australia that has one says they are better built than the Cosy.

I think they are a great price. We will see whats happens down the track and if I can save up enough for one.

I do missing sidecaring so much.

If, and I say IF, they are built similar to the Cozy be sure and look at how well (or not well) the wheels are laced. Some of th elarge wheel Cozy's are dowright scary. Other than that and if one does some decent rigging of the chair they can be made to work quite well. The finish is not the best but no worse than some other sidecars that are around.
If these are like the Cozy you can lower them and do some pretty cool stuff actually.
Here is a comparison between a stoc cozy a lowered cozy we did a while back and a steib.

Lowered Cozy

I was just informed that CMW now has Inders in stock.
Apparently they are not the same as Cozy, and seem to have a better build quality. ( ? )

BTW, Globe has been a memory only for some time.
