Huge Price Increase On Adventures!

It's confirmed! If you have been thinking about getting an 04 Adventure, don't wait. I just recieved my 05 order form and the MSRP has been increased to $13898.00, no "S" model will be available, no silver, and they won't ship until February of 05.

From what I have seen so far, there have been no major changes. I will keep everyone up do date as I find out more.

Well, with the US$1 worth 0.70 euro something has to give. Or, the other way, Euro 1.00 is US$1.42. Surprised they didn't go up more.

Don't know where you got your info from but if it's the dealer telling you this rest assured he doesn't know.
I'm told different from oversees, FI and possible different cosmetics.

My dealer had not heard anything yet, as of a couple of weeks ago, though I think he would be pretty happy man if he never saw another 950. Did not another ADVrider mention rumors of heavily reduced unit numbers being imported, something like half, and a muc higher price. Guess it will be a while longer before I get one!

You should worry, the price here is already 15,500 EURO thanks to the enlightened attitude of the Government here to import duties and "special consumption tax".

makes me weep to see US prices.......

I guess somewhere, sometime, a buyer really paid MSRP, probably causing a dealer heart attack. But if KTM raises dealer invoice prices by a similar $2,000, there won't be many 950s in showrooms.

Justice at last! Selling these beauties - the Ferrari among all roads - at roughly the same price as my old man's GS12 lump is just criminal...

BTW, prices in Holland are € 14.390 and 14.790,- for the S

nice to see KTM protecting their customers value unlike BMW who sells the end of year models at a 25% to 35% discount thereby killing the secondary market.

1 US Dollar = 0.81546 Euro
1 Euro (EUR) = 1.22630 US Dollar (USD)

When I asked at Scudaria in San Francisco about a month ago they said $13.600.00 out the door (non S)...And that they had just been told by the factory that "they would be getting NO more 950's for the rest of 2004." They had 3 at that time and had gotten them all from other dealers.

The info came directly from KTM USA. The dealer didn't tell me anything. I am the dealer!!! Yesterday I recieved my confidential dealer price sheets, 05 order forms, allocations, and a vague brochure listing some of the changes. The brochure said nothing about fuel injection but as the bikes aren't available until February, it's possible that they may come with FI. If you look closely at an 04 dash, there is a spot for a light that clearly is marked FI. I've been a dealer since 1998 and KTM is usually vague about the final specs until the dealer meeting which starts August 16th.

I CAN guarantee that the MSRP is $13898 and that the cost was raised accordingly.
