I'm out. Weather is iffy, and bike is in pieces.

Have fun.

Can’t make it tonight. I’ve got free transportation and tickets to tonight’s Orioles game. Figures I’d better go see the Orioles one more time before the Dulles Expos come to town. Maybe next week huh?

Good to meet you as well.

Upcoming Valley League Baseball games in Middleburg:

Weds., July 14
Tues., July 20
Tues., July 27

There are a few more, but those are the dates that work with your commuting schedule. All games at 7:30pm.

Directions to field:
Home of the Loudoun Rangers - Mickie Gordon Memorial Park

The park is located one mile east of Middleburg off Rt. 50. After passing through downtown Middleburg, turn left on RT. 627/Carters Farm Lane (brown sign indicating Mickie Gordon Park) and follow gravel road for about 1/4 mile to park entrance on left.

The 14th sounds good to me, we can start with that one as the plan & if the weather doesn't cooperate we can just wait for the next one

Anyone else?

Have you got room for one more? Sounds good and much closer than Baltimore for a game. Only took me 2 hours to get from Reston to Camden Yards yesterday. Typical 495 beltway nightmare.

What kind of crowds do they get there for these games? I use to go see the Prince William Cannon's play AAA ball. Similar level of play?

I haven't been to one of these games so I don't know what to expect exactly. I wouldn't think the crowds are very large. It's minor leaque baseball, recognized by MLB, played on a volunteer basis around the Shenandoah Valley by college players (no seniors).

I read about it here.

And, yes, you're welcome to join.

Don't know if you're accepting any other vagrants, but for those of us in the process of relocating to the area (out here- Chantilly or there-abouts?) would be interested in seeing the show as well.

Any truth to the rumor of free beer and 7th inning strippers, just to encourage attendence?

Don't know about that rumor but I'm willing to investigate. Come on out.

As Dark said, let's plan for the Weds., July 14 game and see what the weather brings.

I'm drove the car up this week if you want to catch a ride your welcome.

Also, I'm looking for a room to rent, looks like this project in Reston is going to last a while. I come in Monday & I'm out Thursday. If you know of anything let me know.

Thanks
