2010 Japanese XR250 pics?

not the gold rimmed one i floated awhile back, something different.
competition for yami 250 dual sport???
if it's real gauranteed honda won't be afraid to bring in to the us.
they've got nothing in this category at the moment & those yamis are hot selling bikes.
a xr based reliable motor in a crf chasis with FI & street legal would be an awesome bike.
it's amazing what these 250s are doing these days. of course begs the question when is the 400 coming. wish honda would just make it 300-325cc and cover both size requirements with one bike.

Looks like a CRF motor to me.

I hope I'm wrong and the engine in that thing is a scaled down version of the 650R. Maybe Honda will debut a new XR lineup with reliable liquid cooled 650R-like engines. XR300R, XR400R, XR550R....

Honda would never do that because of stepped licensing in Japan. Bikes below 250ccs do not require the mandatory 2-year vehicle test and thus are cheaper to own and popular for delivery vehicles, etc. Lots of 250cc courier bikes in Japan. More and more 250cc supermotos too (a la Kawi D-Tracker.)

That engine pipe looks very much like the 09 CFR450R FI, the pipe comes out of the L/H side instead of the right side like the old engine as it a totally new design, they have done away with the Unicam setup, that bike may be the 250 version.
