I just looked and could only trace it up to around the shock reservoir/adjuster dial before it becomes hidden behind the seat/plastics. Not sure what else it might be besides the battery overflow, but seem to also remember that tube being clear at the battery...

My battery overflow tube was black. Not sure about the routing, though that sounds about right. Pretty sure the airbox overflow is farther forward on mine.

Yeah, airbox overflow is a short tube, ends around the spark plug(s). It normally has some sort of valve on the end, but mine seems to have fallen off...

True. I got three seasons and thiry thousand kilometers out of a broken sensor by using a coating of superglue. Coil finally went tits up this spring and after my summer vacation ( doing other things unfortunately) I will replace it. According to max BMW they are about 85 bucks so it's worth trying the superglue/nail polish thing first.

Sorry about the delayed response.. can't find the packet. Not that it matters cause I can't recommend them, bright but they ingest water if I wash it or ride in the rain...

Has not stopped them working though.

I think I am chasing a different issue right now. The ABS seems to cut out at low RPM's. If I keep the RPM's above 3k, everything seems to be fine. The rear sensor is bone dry. I have a new battery on order, the old one is in questionable condition and it was time to replace it anyway. When it arrives I will have a thorough look at all the connections and wiring for damage. I cleaned some rust from the front sensor ring, I don't know if that is an issue or not.

I bought some 5 minute epoxy to "seal" the sensor, but I like the idea of using superglue so I will probably do that today.

Ditto on the fender. Those aren't the TT forks, right? Triples look different.

Great looking bike!

I bought the fender from a guy in Holland, it is used on the BMW of Frans Verhoeven in the Dakar rallye.

Fuel overflow ? Mine overflows like a motherfucker when parked in the sun with a full tank

If it's a 'Merican bike, fuel overflow goes to the charcoal canister on the lower left side of the tank. There is a port at the bottom of it where I think it ultimately vents. Not sure it that'd be it, then. Unless Parx is lucky enough to have a euro/TT tank

Do you like the handling, and is there any noticable loss in steering lock? Kinda a downside with USD forks, I think. If I didn't already have USD WP's, I'd want to put 50mm Extreme's on.

That's a killer looking fender.

I'm not familiar with the term steering lock, so can you explain the question?
