Big weekend of concerts, I'm beat, but here's one pic for a teaser, I'll hopefully get some more up tomorrow. You're too fast on the keyboard Dave! I can't keep up...

How's this zipper-thingy work?
![]() I think this cemetery is really interesting. It feels so "old-school" with the human sized mounds of dirt with a simple cross above it... Honest. ![]() Even more honest is the lingering pile of "used" grave ornamentation just outside the fence. ![]() ![]() A guy having success at Parker Lake. (It didn't break my heart to ride all the way down there AT ALL Dave. Good for my new tires! ) ![]() ![]() No, no, don't wait, go ahead! ![]() ![]() ![]() And there it is, there's old Mexico, just a few feet away... ![]() It was a really, really nice day to be out riding. The after dark part was chilly, but SOMEONE is wise enough to use an electric vest. ![]() Let's do it again Dave, I'm glad we both got to see something old and something new. I'll be back to AZ for sure!

Brilliant - such a good memory jogger for me, I came over last year and did the Dragoon mountains and around Fort Bowie on horseback - great to see what it looked like on two wheels - cant wait to get back over there! Maybe I will do it on two wheels this time instead of 4 legs??!!

Just south of Texas Canyon is the Triangle T Ranch. A WWII POW camp
for high ranking German officers. Now a touristy trap, but still in a very beautiful area with lots of history. Great report! Keep on keepin' on. |

You rat-bastards are soooo lucky to live here
I did Ruby Road yesterday and that was a great road! BTW, I lost a tailbag with a couple of MSR fuel bottles somewhere out there on Ruby, so if you're getting low on fuel, scan the roadside and you might get lucky

Enjoyed
I sure enjoyed your travels thru Southern Arizona.
Pitty this is closed-----I was there earlier in the year (Jan.) and found out it was closed because of people leaving trash and motorcycles with loud exhausts. It is private land---too bad you can't go there anymore. I tried getting to the paramore crater near there also---private. I went to a ranch on a dead end rode and was going to try and find someone and sweet talk my way to the crater---but no one around.

Dave and all ancestral predecessorial southern AZ ride reporters - thanks for posting the pics and reports - my trip over was worth the ride and wish I had more time to explore the region. It was great
Dave, your photo skills are impressive bud Looking forward to heading back in the future
