So, where are the best places to soarce parts for these things, online or local shops etc. What about places to reference for rebuilds, electrical, handy tips etc. Noticed there is no specific thread index for these or the L in the thumpers section. Whats doing there, thought these had a cult like following.

Yeah, haven't picked it up yet. Needs some work, so will get it sorted for next years ride, should be able to spread the spares out a bit between us. What have you got kicking around home you dont need.

Beaches to the south are patchy.since the green invasion of Byron Shire yet some good riding remains to be had.
Theres a short section from Broken Head down to Lake Ainswoirth where the beemer just fits under the gate.
Another section from Ballina to Evans Head with a challeging rocky section
Then you gotta cross the Evans River back on the H-way and take Gap Road to hit the beach to Woody Head
(Air Force bombing range is a challenge I haven't tried yet)
Over the Clarence there some sandy tracks south of Yamba that get you onto the Coast Range Road with great ocean views from the ridge above Candole SF.
Looping west from Coffs gets you into Wild River country with water front camping and some altitude to cool things off a bit.

South works for me as I can hit the beaches on a day ride but for sand the only thing that beats Noosa North Shore is Fraser Island both well wroth the 200k slab to Tewantin.

Don't tattoo my name on the list yet I haven't seen Sues work roster for that weekend yet.

G'day Glen, wont know completely until i pick it up and start pulling it apart. Hopefully not to much, but will more than likely just pull it apart and rebuild it then i know it's fresh.

Thats the way to do it IMHO, there getting a bit old now and some have been abused.
