hose? As in water? Looks like im gonna need to borrow a compressor. This is what my oil screen looked like when I took it out

brake cleaner would be good cause it evaporates, but degreaser usually does a better job when Im cleaning stuff, would the residue left in the frame from degreaser hurt anything I wonder
I'm a big fan of petrol for cleaning stuff but it is not usually advised because of it's volatility.

I'd be filling the tank to nearly full and giving it a bit of a shake to loosen stuff sticking to the sides. Drain...let settle then do it again using the same petrol leaving the sediment in the container.

Repeat.

Then renew petrol. Follow above procedure. Drain

Then renew petrol once again. Drain.

Dump petrol in creek and throw a match to it or leave it in a separate marked container until you need it for something.
I normally pour it around the boundary to kill weeds.

If you can get your hands on one of those cheap chinese compressors, they are plenty good enough for most jobs in the shed

... the XR is the greatest off road motorcycle ever constructed. There's nothing it can't do, hasn't won or will not outperform.

Team Honda's lead rider dropped over today to play broom brooms with my broom broom ......he was all over it like a fat kid a lamington

Seems the last person inside my carb broke the top rubber seal on the slide cap ...then thought it would be a good idea to fix it with some black silicon .....it was peeling off into the carb

The lead rider was not happy ..nor was I .....my slide has scuff marks on it ...got swapped out ...moved the c-clip back to the middle notch ...air mix out 1 3/4 out ...its better but the lead rider is still not happy ...there may be a valve issue

Lead rider is coming back again tomorrow for more broom brooming ......

Smithy ...your a fucking good bloke mate .....

The main concern in life would idealy be "how am I going to keep tyres up to this thing?"
That's the aim....

....we are not talking about a ride around the block here. 8000km+

Team Honda needs an injection, and it's up to you lol
