[QUOTE=poppy;22452008]Doesn't seam to be much around for the XR. I know the standard ones are way to small for my liking so I am playing around with an alternative. I know there are the IMS ones and also the Pivots available, but not keen on paying up for the pivots and would not buy the IMS because I want something bigger. The fella I bought my bike off had some extensions put on the existing pegs but they suck and look like shit, so we did a bit of playing around and made a template to play with and see what works.

Here is my existing footpegs. You can see the standard peg and the existing extension.

Template made from a bit of scrap 1.6mm gal

Its funny you mention that Fogo, that's what I called em. Was just playing around with the depths and widths of the of the prickly bits. They ended up approx 190% surface area increase over standard.

G`day Sean-o, After Plastic Right Hand Side Cover in white, I bought some soft panniers that supposedly didn't need racks but melted me side cover on the exhaust on the CREB track a few weeks ago

Cam Swap

So i dicked around on Saturday afternoon and swapped these over. Going to be interesting to see how much difference there is between them. Took it for a 10klm loop around the block to make sure all was well after the install and had no leaks etc. Chucked a few skids in the bush and it felt alright, although it was dry and slippery. Need to go for a decent ride now see how it goes, what has changed and where. Would be interesting to get it back on the dyno to and see were the torque curve has moved to. It doesn't feel like it has lost any low down torque on my short ride. The idle has changed a little, as in it sounds a bit different. Ohh, and the pegs are way more comfortable to stand on, pretty happy with them.

Anyone use, found or know of a nice clutch perch with a decent adjuster, mine is pox. The adjuster keeps binding up and trying to cross thread and i cant stand having to pull the lever all the way into the bars when stopped. I like being able to just use a couple of fingers on the lever with my outer two around the bar/grip and just pull the lever back to the front of my fingers.
