With regard to all the bikes in the lounge room, you're either not married, or you have one hell of an understanding wife - if so, does she have an unmarried sister.....
Cheers

Tyre choice..............again!

Hi guys,
I'm looking at getting a new rear tyre to suit more road riding than dirt. About 90:10 road/dirt.

Any suggestions? Willing to spend up to $200.

A mate suggested Michelin Siracs.

Thanks.

Had a nice coupla days up at Dargo recently......but it was as hot as fuck....had to keep coming down out of the hills to the rivers to cool off.

Anyone found a supplier of suitable footpegs that are wider and maybe longer than these anorexic ones?
Just sourcing whats out there before i consider an extension mod with another pair.

Many thanks J-Mo and Cooky...
Best i use my dosh on a IMS tank and mod the peg, and whilst the welders out anneal / shape the brake lever out a tad and extend the sidestand a bit,i find its a one kick affair only when a short ass gets leverage that way.

Lovin the pig, complete stock so will be having fun gleaning info here..
Bloody hell how bad was it before...Four clicks back and no more hormonal flat spots...geez that was a laugh before.
Cheers and thanks for the info.

There are a few to chose from, The Michys as suggested; Metzler Saharas are worth a look as they are great on the black top as well as the dry soft sand.
Pirelli also have an equivilent that I have used and liked, but can't remember the model sorry
Haven't managed to get my hands on a Heidenau K60 yet, but I reckon they will be a good one

Nice bike, it looks clean......

What else are you going to do to it?

Are you going to change the clutch basket bush?

Yours has the same rack as mine - does yours squash the airbox cover at all?

Also wouldn't mind a picture of the bolt that holds the kickstarter onto the spindle - mine seems to have wandered off somewhere..
