Sorry we missed you. Are you supposed to be riding yet?

For everyone else, thanks for the good time. It was great to meet the new faces. Look forward to the next ride.

Good luck at the doc.

The guy that took the ST offroading is Charlie, the former owner of Toosy's which used to be at the end of 400. He seemed all right, he was wearing jeans which are holed up pretty good now, and was sporting a bloody knee but otherwise seemed ok.

Thanks.

I bet he will be sore as hell this morning, but glad to hear it was nothing major.

Cute little Boxer. We have four to many already though. I'm sure I would miss the hell out of them if they were gone. Sometimes I think this is a rescue shelter.

I thought I knew the whereabouts of just about every BBQ joint in GA but this one has got me stumped. Care to share?

Come from Unicoi State Park towards Helen, turn right on 75 (north) and it is immediately on the left by a gas station and a little park. If you hit the tubin' place ya gone too far.

Yeah, he seemed to be doing remarkably well, considering his ordeal. The bike slid quite a ways - notice the curve in the back of the pic. His bike slid from there and shot off into the woods near where everyone was standing in the pic. It was stuck down in some tight trees. Knocked off the windscreen, a mirror and some other minor cosmetic damage, but it withstood the crash well overall. He said he hit some gravel in the curve and then surfed on top of it for a while. He was wearing a good jacket (don't remember the make) that seemed to save a lot of hide, because it was very skinned up. His T-shirt underneath was all scuffed, but not torn. Glad he was OK.

My favorite part was as we were pulling his bike out of the trees, he wanted to know where we were going to lunch. He and his buddy later joined us!. It was kind of like a dirt bike crash. Oh well, crashed my ST 1100 out having some fun, it's OK - time for lunch. They were nice guys.

Coates, Houligan and Judy - they talked about knowing you guys and didn't say nice things at all !!

Did anyone get the name of the place. Someone commented that it would be a good stop on days when Helen is busy - on the outskirts of town, so you wouldn't have to get in all the traffic mess.

Regarding the dog. That was a great dog - I thought Flux was going to take him home.
