Help! May 4th thru May 31st...
Hay all!
Would like some help with some "must see" destinations along my way... Planning a ride from Ft Peck, MT to New York to see "Ground Zero" then to Philadelphia to Independence Hall then to see where Flight 91 fell then to Washington DC for the whole tour. I'm calling that part of my ride the Patriot Tour. I'd then like to hit the Dragon and Barbour Museum on my way to Key West. Then 10 West to New Orleans and up to Ft Worth. Then maybe up to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, drive right by Vegas and head back to MT via Salt Lake and then the ride home. Wish I knew how to do the google map thing and show you all the route but I'm challenged in that department. Thanks for the help! I had planned on going to AK this year but couldn't get a June Vacation so guess I'll ride our Great Country!!! Thanks for the help! I'll add more after I charge the batt on my computer! Till then take care! Walt

You forgot the flight that impounded into Pennsylvania. It's on the way to New York anyway.
I'd throw in some vintage patriotic sights. War of 1812 battleground near Lafayette Indiana. Old Fort Wayne Indiana, Fort Defiance Ohio, Fallen Timbers Maumee Ohio. Then the Revolutionary sites throughout Pennsylvania. Fort Duquense Pittsburgh. Don't forget Gettysburg and there's a shitload of Civil war places in Maryland. There have been many dramatic events that have shapped the nation. We need to remember the old ones as well.
