Looks like my schedule freed up, is there going to be a slow group so as not to slow anyone down?

I'll be showing up at the start with Jonz and I think Blt4bja.
If we're late don't wait. We know the way.

Then use the create route or find/go to options on the GPS and save as a route. It's possible to zoom in on the map on the GPS and add via points using the touch screen. Keep adding via points at appropriate points on the intended route so no turns are missed. Usually only one or two via points per road/trail are necessary. This seems to be a pretty quick and semi-painless way to get the route saved as a route.

perfecto...that worked...

Sounds like Sito wants 3 groups, so everyone should fit in on the ride. Hopefully each group will have a leader that knows the route.

For what it's worth, i plan on showing up. Digging out the video junk to try and get some footage. May be just dust from the fast guys.....

bring your radio

If you have a radio, it might be useful in keeping tabs on the groups.
Can someone post their Spot page? Mine didn't arrive

Checklist:
buying tires at the retail motorcycle shop because you were too busy to get in on the group buy....check
helmet cam, check
lack of quality velcro to ensure camera stays on my helmet, check
pocket camera, check
dslr with 300mm zoom lens and 4gb of flash memory, check
dead battery for the camera even though I am charging it, check
maps loaded onto GPS, check

now its time to ride!
