Well here they are... my piss-poor excuse for photos:

SEs resting at 8100ft

A late day flat repair

Yeah... that's it. Pathetic isn't it. I spent the day just trying to keep up with these FFs and had no time for a camera.

Thanks Marty, the ride was great. Look forward to the Warped ride. The magic bus is for sale. Do you have any footage of the area before we met at the top of the hill. Have fun, enjoy

It's a challenge to find a "all-a-rounder" better to have bike all around you. Must resist the urge to buy. Trouble is I'm not very good at it.

Which is actually the entrance to John Bull. If you can't handle Gatekeeper, go home.

BTW...anybody with 4 wheels wants to do a night run up the Bull this summer, I'm leading another one this year. That is one amazing trail at night.

For all you guys who did the Bull, you now qualify for the Rubicon.

Thanks for the pics guys. One of these days (when I'm like...60) I'll be good enough to join you...without falling over.

No, wish i did. I think what i was thinking at the start of the section was that i could either try to chase you guys down, or stop, hook up the cam, and get footage of your dust. It's not a very handy setup. I only got an hour of footage, and what i posted is the best of it.

Cool. When was that picture taken? It looks like recently but I guess the snow melts the same way every year.

I'll have to try the trail going the right way next time. It'll be a whole new set of obstacles.

Shortly thereafter a super enduro found its way onto its side. After a 5 minute repair, we were off once again. Then we met up with the main group who was stoped changing a flat. After making a left at the T just past the closed campground, Henry crashed bad and had to be air-lifted out. Before the crash, RSC450 was on his way to PioneerTown by himself. I had the key to his truck so after Henry was lifted, I hurried to PioneerTown just in time to meet up with the first group as they were getting ready to head back. I understand that I missed some good technical riding that the first group had just done :( The pack thinned out and then we had the next flat tire. I thought I would provide some assistance, since the guys were not familiar with my mighty red handled tire irons and their magic tube pinching abilities. 2nd tube installed and we were off. We gassed up, said bye to Riceless and slabbed it most of the way home. Hit some dirt on the way, but it was pretty dusty. Hope Henry heals quickly. Another ride in the story book.

Hello all, this is Henry's girlfriend....This is to let you all know that Henry says thank you very much for all of your help. He wants me to let you know that the last thing he remembers was taking off from changing the flat on the 950 and then waking up in the helicopter. This pic above of him sitting he does not remember. He's got 3 broken ribs, broken collarbone , collapsed lung which is on it's way back. Thanks to whomever had the satellite phone but in the future he says that you all need to know who has the SPOT. Henry's SPOT was in his jacket pocket.

Thanks again from drug land. (whatever that means?)

toast suddenly showed up after getting separated from the A riders... and decided to join us

we made it to 3N16

though we're running late, there was no urgency to rush, waited for the others and did little fixing

these C+ riders really know how to make dust.......

in less than a mile, we stopped again...8(H

we found out rolandska got ejected off the bike and injured

this is cool group...everyone wanted to help

there was no cell service; we were fortunate, danny has a sat phone and we contacted 911 right away

first to show up was the local S and R volunteer (wearing blue sweater); sorry we didn't get his name and thank him fully

he helped stabilize henry while waiting for the paramedics

Henry and I are going to start a club. We had/have almost identical injuries.
You really don't want to join!

As far as the SPOT units, Brigitte raises a good point. SPOT offers $40,000.00 per occurence of SAR insurance.

Guys, we NEED to make sure everyone knows we have a SPOT unit and where its at! I highly suggest are SPOT units are out in the open like on our handlebars.
